Welcome to the 3rd KC Guthrie and Jenna Middleton Appreciation Thread!

KC is the bad boy with a dark past. His parents were junkies and landed in prison, forcing him to spend some of his teenage years in a group home. KC is enjoys playing sports as he plays on the school's basketball and football team. He is trying to break free of his troubled past and making the best of his currently life.

Jenna is the bubbly blonde cheerleader, always cheering KC on at his games. Jenna is an aspiring singer and songwriter. When Jenna was a little girl, her mother abandoned her and moved to Memphis. Jenna's father is currently working in the West, forcing her to live to her older brother. While she comes off as confident and secure of herself, deep down she is insecure just like any other teenage girl.

They were drawn by physical attraction, but it eventually developed into a long lasting relationship. They've had their ups and downs and have overcome many obstacles, now they're ready to face the ultimate challenge, being teen parents.

I don't know what will happen with these two in the future but I think at the very least we should be treated to a scene of them at their graduation and they reflect on their history.

It is going to feel really weird if Jenna doesn't interact with KC in this week's batch of episodes, especially if Tyson is brought into the mix with KC's other daddy issues. These two have so much history together. I miss them.

I never thought I'd post here. But I'm going to share something I posted on tumblr.

And they’re saying their goodbye and they’re barely using any words and you know that they are saying so much more than that. So much more with just a little look between them. That they’re hearts are breaking. That they just wanted to be together and life just pulled them apart. That they were ready for everything they went through but they did it together anyway. And in the end it was so much for them that they had to move on. But they never stopped loving each other. They still do. A part of their hearts will always belong to each other. And even though the world forced them apart they’re saying that life goes on and it’s breaking my heart. It’s breaking my heart because there’s no way they can make it better for each other. And that embrace that need to just hold each other to try and fix it even though they can’t- it just tears me to pieces. That is love! That is the most pure kind of love the world has to offer! And to see these silly little kids who just wanted to have fun grow into these mature wise young adults is such a beautiful thing. There was such honesty in that moment. Sure pure emotional honesty there. The writers turned KC and Jenna into a couple I never thought they could be. A couple that know what loves means. Maybe more than anyone else on the show.

I don’t understand how anyone could not ship them - at least a little bit - after tonight.

Bravo, Degrassi! This is character development. The best I’ve seen on this show maybe ever.

I love that tumblr. I love the last scene of them, the hug, the way everyone saw him off, the look he gave Jenna before he left. He really cares and loves her so much.

I saw the ep when KC looks at Jenna when hes with Clare and says Jenna's a pretty cool girl. Not that I shipped them yet, but he's never looked at Clare like that.

When Jenna told Dave she liked someone. That someone was KC.

That post is great, and really accurate. The perfect insight into their relationship, that is way more layered and deep than what it seemed at the beginning.

And yes, I love the way he looks at her, as if she was the only person in the world he sees

Hello newbie and welcome and speaking of these two and what made me love them after a while was when Jenna sang her song about breaking up with KC and they shook hands after that. I can tell there were still feelings there between them.
