Been on the go for as long as I can remember, and so far- i’ve always loved each moment of it. Travelling, packing, exploring, experiencing competitions, recitals,*#filming, etc always suited my single lifestyle. However, as I rotate around the suns orbit each year, the more I wonder: is it possible to have a “settled” life AND be in show business?? When I have my children will I continue to globe trot and spend my real life’s time on camera as various fictional characters? Will I be that director who has an on set babysitter in my rider??? Do I even have to think about this stuff right now or should I just let life flow?? (Genuine question, seeking genuine answer)*
Perhaps I’m just pooped after a long day on set, alone in my hotel room in a random part of the city over analyzing what “planning/routine & balance” means for the*#entertainmentindustry.

brb going to meditate and hope the answer comes to me.

Tuesday was Mindy's 28th birthday!


mindyshankar- This is 28! Thank you all for the sweet DM’s! I can’t wait to read them all! I feel so grateful to hold space on Earth today. After spending most of my life performing for others, I took the last couple of years for myself focussing on inner peace, falling in real love, discovering my soul / it’s purpose & learning life’s lessons. (Even the hard ones you wanna ignore but then realize the situation will recycle until you really listen to the Universe’s msgs).. I’m truly excited to share that today I feel like I’m finally the human I always hoped I’d be. Now, to balance human self with creative self. My goal is to simply spread light, magic & entertainment through ART. It’s a process that takes work EACH DAY but, my Birthday wish is for us all to take the time to check in with SELF, unapologetically. You will never regret it! Happiness and beauty radiates from within.. it just takes DEDICATION, POSITIVE ENERGY, PRAYER & SELF LOVE!*
