I have interviewed 2 people already so all I need is a 3rd person and I will have all the information I need. I have been trying all week at my college campus to find people and the people that I've asked have pretty much either shrugged me off or made excuses. I hate doing papers. I've never understood the purpose of doing a paper.

I have to write a paper on Benito Cereno- the character, not the short story. Any ideas? I didn't really get much out of the story and the research I have done thus far is not helping much.

Homework help.. Not for me, but my sister. However I'm doing it first so I can show her how to do it. I haven't done this in 7 years so, I'm rusty.

Pythagorean Theorem

Question 1:

A= 7cm
B= 24 cm
C= X

Round answers to one decimal place

Answer: 33

Am I right?

It's 25 cm.

7^2 + 24^2 = c^2
49 + 576 = c^2
625 = c^2
25 = c

Has anyone studied this/is studying it in High School/College?
How did you like it?
Can you relate to Edna, or do you think she's just weird?

I have it in an exam in January, and would be very glad about any kind of inspiration, thoughts, or maybe even a whole essay, just to help me?

Wikipedia Article
I have read "The Awakening"

I guess it depends upon the person, if they can relate to Edna. I mean, she certainly has a life of priviledge... yet, she feels trapped. Her husband treats her like a piece of property (note how he reacted when she sunburned herself). The life and times that she lives, she's expected to behave a certain way, and she just doesn't feel like she can. She's doesn't feel like a "mother woman", etc.

Not sure if that helped If you have specific questions, I might be of more assitance. Feel free to post them here

Hmmmm... I think FF ate my post....

Feel free to ask some more specific questions, and I'll try to help. I am familiar with the work.

Some people can relate to Edna and some can't. I guess it just depends. She lives in a society and a time where a lot of expectations are put on her and she just doesn't know how to handle them.
