Why do people offer help and then not follow through? It makes me feel betrayed. Now I have more problems to deal with than I started out with because I believed they would follow through and I was foolish enough to wait.

I'm very forgiving but I find it hard to respond after people expect me to forgive over and over again for the same thing. My kindness is not an excuse for their continued bad behavior.
