Oh, that was a good movie! Not fantastic but still something I'd reccomend.

It's a let-down if you read the books though..

yeah, I heard about the "short-cut" ending...as long as the rest of it is up to snuff...I have been forewarned!

Haha, well after some disappointing HP movie expectations, I always look for good adice with the book-to-movie scenario!

It's good to see other people do to

Oh! Well, at least you'll see it

I really want to see Atonement, you'd like that Sheida, the makers of Pride and Prejudice made that

I know, I'm yet to see Juno (which I'm doing today with my friend ).

I don't think I'd want to see Atonement unless Keira Knightley was in it Sheida

I was so disappointed. I got to the cinema with my friend, and all the seesions of Juno were full. So we ended up seeing Cloverfield which just stank.

Cloverfield had a fairly good plot line, but they could of made it soo much better. Teh worst thing is that is was filmed with a fake home camera the whole time so it was always blurry and everyone booed it at the end as the ending also just really topped off the stupid plotline.

I hope you get some good ones

Well...I finally got to the movies last night and had to settle for Sweeney Todd because the Golden Compass is totally gone from the theaters in my area. Turns out that the final reviews and bad box office killed "Compass" very early so I'll have to wait for the DVD...New Line lost big time money, so far, on it so I guess that the next 2 books will not be made into film
Anyway, Sweeney Todd, is a typical "musical" a genre which I nornally do not like, and this was no exception. The sets, acting and costumes were very good; very "Burtonesque" if you will but the action seemed, mostly, uncomfortable, That is, singing dialogue is not the thing Depp, Bonham-Carter and Rickman should ever do again. Don't get me wrong, it was enjoyable to watch but the wanton rivers of blood and hidden cannibalism is not a good match for singing and, yes it is odd, but it also doesn't work for me. Actually, Depp didn't do much acting, he just kind of stared into space with an evil look on his face for about 80 percent of the time...Sacha Baron Cohen(Borat) was the only thing worth seeing as Todd's first victim. I give it a 6 out of 10.

I've had really different opionions coming from everywhere about that movie. I just don't know, it's not out in Australia yet, but I'm not sure if I will see it. The thing is though, I saw Hairspray I really enjoyed that. I'm a little in the dark.

But I saw Juno today (after the other days total failure of a movie) and I throughly enjoyed it. Very funny and very emotional. Ellen Page is just so, so... charismatic

I give it a 10 out of 10
