1. This competition is for X-files only.
2. Anyone can participate.
3. An announcement will be made before each challenge, and you can submit your names in this thread only and not the X-files Avatars Thread.. If you don't submit your names you cannot compete in the challenge.
4. The challenges will be put up usually on a Thursday (unless there is a problem)
5. All the icon makers will have to submit their icons by the next Saturday i.e. if the challenge starts on say 5th April you have to submit it by 14th April. (you have 10 days to submit an icon)
6. You cannot post icons made for a particular challenge anywhere else until the challenge is over that is until the winners are announced.

Voting system.

• You will have to PM your votes to both Neel and Holli. This is to make sure there is no foulplay and nobody has to sit out a challenge to make it fair.
  
• Obviously you cannot vote for yourself. hence the two moderators to make sure the moderators don't cheat (Although I highly doubt that would be a problem)
  
• Any questions or doubts you have you can ask the moderators or post your queries in this thread. Details of a particular challenge , the do's and don't s will be put up with every challenge.
  
• There will also be a winner that would be the moderators' choice other than the winners that will be voted by the other posters.

So that's it then any questions, suggestions regarding the challenge are welcomed. Looking forward to the competition and all your wonderful creation.

Icons

• You have to capture different moods of characters. Happy, sad, silly, angry ,scary...etc.
• You have to make 3 icons. (NO animated icons)
• Icon size 100x100
• No mood can be repeated ie in your batch of 3 icons there should be 3 different moods. Can't have 2 icons with a Happy mood.
• No characaters should be repeated.ie If your first icon is Mulder's the others have to be some one else, it can't be Mulder.
• Your icon can be of villians, monsters, guest-stars too.
• Icons to be submitted by Friday 10th August.
• The challenge is open for everyone, ie you can join in the middle of the challenge too.
• PM your entries to both neel luvs tony and Kaholli.

Random question - when voting, will it be for banners and icons separately or will they all be going up against one another?

I ask too many questions

Also: What do you mean by "villain"? Is it just any of the monsters etc from throughout the show, or is it like one of the major conspiracy-related villains? Sorry to be such a pain lol!

Voting will be seperately for banners and icons.
And yes, villain includes monsters and conspiracy bad guys. Will change that in the first post. Thanks :-)

OK another question, I know we have to do at least one banner and no M & S together, so can we submit a Scully banner and a Mulder banner instead of doing any icons if we choose?

Yay new challenge!

Not really had a lot of time on the computer recently, will hopefully find some time to get some stuff done for this challenge

Will also try and get people back to the board for this. People like Dricks who used to make brilliant icons

hm.. I've got a question now... i know that a banner is mandatory... could we only send a banner or must we send an icon too? because icons are optional and i'm a little bit confused now.. *too much work today x.X*
