The make-up department did a great job as well of making them look like two different people

Heh yes I wonder whose idea it was to get one actress to play both parts, did they originally plan to get someone for the guy and she offered to do it herself, or was it always planned to offer her both roles? And if so, I hope she got double her usual fee for it

I tried to find out about the casting and didn't find anything about that, but this here...

Quote:
The episode guest stars Karin Konoval–who played Madame Zelma in "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" and Mrs. Peacock in "Home" in the original series–who appears in a dual role as brother and sister characters Judy and Chucky Poundstone.

Oh that’s cool, she really has made a lot of appearances over the years then, and all of the characters were pretty distinct and memorable ones

Is he going to be a murder victim, murderer, or authority figure?

Actually, I’ve realized I’ve never seen him playing another character on a show outside of X-Files! I may have seen all the cast in other roles or movies except him!

I’ve seen him in Supernatural, he appears in a few episodes of that as Sam and Dean’s grandfather

I’ve never really watched that show. Also, I guess I can say I haven’t seen William B. Davis in anything else either which is kind of good, cause it preserves the character of CSM to me

I loved his flashback episode from season 4, although to be honest I didn’t like his character as much when he returns to life and becomes recurring in season 6, but then that wasn’t my favourite season anyway He always seemed a bit weird to me then with his obsession with bringing Mary back to life, even if that meant betraying his own grandchildren
