That’s cool, wow, that’s quite a marathon :thud:

 I love that trailer, it seems so “British” especially the “9 inch height difference” they put in there :lmao:

The X-Files celebrates 25th anniversary with Mulder and Scully Barbie dolls

Haha, so I recall when they were casting Scully, the network wanted a “Barbie” type woman at first, well, look at that, GA is definitely Barbie material as Scully, after all ;)

They both look really good as those dolls! Wonder if I’ll see them in the store here!

The X-Files at 25: how Mulder and Scully’s adventures revitalised the art of TV horror

I just binge-watched a season of Better Call Saul... gorgeous! Vince Gilligan
The visuals are just hauntingly beautiful... just like Breaking Bad was.

When the show launched in September 1993, horror fans could barely have dreamed they’d have it so good.
That’s how it felt for me! I looked forward to the show cause I knew it would be fun and creepy after a week of school and such.

Yeah, some writers in the X-Files got their good start with the show and carried on to these current good quality shows too.

Burt Reynolds (a.k.a. literal God) passed away. Remember his his chess game hosting for Scully and Rheyes!

Has anyone watched any of the newer shows they mention in the article?

And yes, sad news about Burt Reynolds passing away. :(

I tried watching “Breaking Bad” but didn’t love it as much as everyone else says, so I dropped it a few episodes in.

I have watched some seasons of American Horror Story and also Castle Rock. I didn’t know that they are re-doing The Twilight Zone though! I might check out The Purge, but I haven’t seen the movies.

I only watched S1 of American Horror Story... not really my thing.
And it took me a little longer with Breaking Bad too but once the addiction kicked in...

What did you think of Castle Rock?

FrellingTralk 09-10-2018 04:14 AM

I’ve watched Breaking Bad and enjoyed it, but I can understand it not being for everyone, the pacing is pretty slow at times

I'm interested in checking out Castle Rock, just waiting to see when/if it’s going to be aired in the U.K., we don’t get Hulu unfortunately

ETA And not sure what thread this belongs too, but it’s now officially 25 years ago since the show first premiereed on 10th September 1993!

Can't believe it's been so long!!!
