Honestly...I can imagine one of the two things or even both to happen. The kiss as well as the sentence "I love you". But I have the feeling (and it's really just a feeling, I don't know anything!) that there will be something big and serious happen to one of the both (my guess is Scully) and that they'll be separated in a way.

So, maybe you'll get one thing or even both, but the question is, will you be happy with the circumstances of the way it happens?

Yep lol, I don't really see them kissing in the finale tbh, I just don't see CC as giving us a full-on kiss only six episodes into the revival after he already spoke about preferring to keep the ~unresolved sexual tension~

I do expect them to have some kind of shippy moment still, but I'm not sure what. A kiss on the check, the hand, or on the forehead seem like definite possibilities though...

When CC gives us another kiss on the head, I’m sure the shippers will answer with a tomato-attack

It’s not easy to find the right shade of intimacy when the both had once been a couple in former times.

There is nothing about Scully Mulder already knew … Any idea to solve this?

I guess the MSR is the greatest mystery of the XFiles and Scully is the most difficult case Mulder has to solve!

But something I especially recognized this season: Mulders love for Scully is so obvious! You can read it in his eyes nearly every time he looks at her. Even Einstein recognized it, right?

well yeah, I would've been surprised if it wasn't so obvious their love for eachother not being there. They were together as partners for so long and then an actual couple for years after that.
