I am sure that was not a coincindence.  About the finger-touching moment: I love how Scully doesn't even need to look up/towards Mulder to know he's reaching out for her.  __________________

Yeah I think that in a way their eye contact and their hand holding was even more intimate than the kisses they got, they really had a connection that went beyond just romance
