I wish they'd already stop doing this. We were pretty close abolishing it for the EU but with the pandemic everything else has taken a backseat. Understandibly.

Exactly. And studies have shown that it doesn't really save energy. Instead it messes us up. Accidents, heart attacks etc all go up after clock changes.

I’m smelling pot smoke from somewhere, like a neighbor. I was walking around my bedroom and discovered a certain corner of my room smells like pot smoke.
 (I don’t smoke, so not sure why I get that smell in that corner! Stinky!)I dislike the time change. I have 2 clocks, and my microwave and oven clocks to change, plus my car. Anyone have any Halloween plans even tho there is a pandemic? Just one my apartment hallway, there are 3 candy bowls with candy free for ourselves which is nice! __________________

But which time would you keep it to, Kia? If we didn't have GMT in the winter, even here in the southeast the late December sunrise wouldn't be until after 9.00am. It's much worse in Scotland and other northern places. That's one of the main reasons our time is different from Europe. We had an experiment in the 70s where we stayed on BST all year, and accidents did go up especially for school age kids and no one working in an office saw the sun. The winter is bad enough with only 8 hours of daylight a day. If we did drop one it would have to be the summertime one for us, as the winter months would be unbearable otherwise.
It seems likely someone is having it, Leanne. That stuff does really smell though!  __________________

I would keep the winter time. Suits me better.
And you (or rather the northern parts of your country) are a lot further up north. I get that that is a bigger problem. I see the difference when I skype with my friend in Denmark. I am drowning in work.  First day back. Need to get back to my desk  __________________

Yes especially if you go to the Shetland Isles it gets really dark up there.

I always don't mind when its a bit lighter in the mornings after the time change, but then the darkness creeps up again in a week.
I'm working in low light today, just feel like it.  __________________

Exactly... And January and February seem to last forever. Darkness and darkness and more darkness.
I'm done now BTW 11:30. Guess I'd better go to bed.__________________
