Will Arnett ("GOB") Appreciation: Master of Illusions!
Will Arnett plays oldest brother and aspiring magician/illusionist GOB (aka George Oscar Bluth II).
My favorite character on the show. I think his funniest moments were when he made the ship "disapear" but they didn't even show it on the "Girls With Low Self-Esteem" video. Instead they showed one of the tricks that he messed up. __________________

How funny was he when he went to get those steal those papers and he whistled when he spoke......I was rolling. I think I read somewhere that Amy Poehler (from SNL), the one he married on the show is his real life wife. Is this true?

Yup, he's married to Amy Poehler in real life. Isn't GOB still technically still married to her on the show? She just left but they never did get the divorce...

My favorite Gob moment is when he does that card trick and he suddenly opens his shirt to reveal the 4 of diamonds (or something) on his chest. That cracked me up.
Second place might be when he and Buster play chicken with the bulldozer. __________________

I loved GOB from the Pilot on.

I couldn't stop laughing when Gob called himself the "matriarch" of the family in the season finale
 Another highlight was when they kept telling Gob that nobody wanted him. You feel sorry for him but at the same time you can't help but laugh at him. Will Arnett does a great job of making Gob petty, pathetic and somehow sympathetic all at the same time. __________________

I love GOB too. I like that there's something so smarmy about his character and yet you almost can't help but like him too.
One of my fave scenes ever is this one: Quote:
