I liked that they showed how Ben and Sayid became a team AND I believe Ben orchestrated it all. He wanted Sayid and no better way than to give the guy who killed his wife on a silver platter ready to be killed. Again I say, poor Sayid.

Sawyer was freaking awesome tonight! :love: Gotta say, I heart me some Sawyer&Claire. "You alright, sweetheart?" :in_love: And the Surley action. "You hurt a curly hair on his head....I'll kill you." Loves.

Ben is more heartless than I had originally thought. I had penned Alex as his weakness. I was wrong. I wasn't a huge fan of Alex, but it was sad nonetheless. Especially Ben's goodbye. BUT he could've stopped it. Whatev.

my favorite part, was sawyer. i loved how he cares about everyone. how he went out to save claire and his line about harming a curly hair on hurley's head. i think assuming that he is still on the island that he is going to be incharge.

i can't wait for next week! i'm so glad that lost is back.

:nod: I took Ben's heartless comment about how she meant nothing to him as if he was trying to convince them that killing her wouldn't have an effect on him, hoping they would let her go. Either way I think they would have killed her.

I don't think Ben meant it as heartless comment, whatever there rules was, it probably meant he and Widmore don't hurt each other's family or they do a bluff when it comes to one another's family. As I said, everyone is a pawn in this war between them, it is causing innocent's their lives.

Did anyone else notice how at the Hotel in Tunisia when the lady looked up the name Ben gave her attitude changed? What does a prefered customer mean? How many times has he been there? I wanna know what note was written next to his name in the ledger!

how funny it is that all these past weeks it has been teased ,IN TV GUIDE, about claire being the one who gets killed. Nope , big swerve and Ben saying she isn't my daughter and the guys kills he right away .

I am really understanding that this is time travel . Ok Sayid says he had been looking for Penny for 7 years but prior to that when Ben was at the hotel he asked the date and year.

October 2005 ........ OK last season Jack heard from Ben that Red sox finally won the world series that would make it 2004.

The whole unleashing of the smog monster was not at all what i expected . I thought he was just going to escape leaving Sawer. Locke Hurley and Claire +baby to fend for them selves.

Ben and his ways so very interesting how a character who originally was only going to be one like 7 episodes became a main character .

Glad i DVR this show, I need to watch it again. Dam new Grey's, New Smallville and Lost . I feel like i am back in March mid season Tv watching form.

I just didn't think Ben would let Alex be killed. I was very surprised. I don't think it took away his love for her, but just the sheer fact that he didn't do anything was shocking to me.

I honestly think Ben thought Alex COULDN'T be killed. After she died he said "He changed the game." I think HE is probably Jacob, perhaps he made a deal with Ben that Alex couldn't die as long as he played by his rules, but Ben must have done something to upset Jacob.

I also suspect Ben might have been behind Nadias death.....just an inkling.
