Son of a bitch is so overused (like Juliet saying it at the end) but hearing Bernard say it was freaking hilarious. Gah I love them.

-The lame ass cliffhanger is numero uno. The first hour started out good, but all the drama and action led to...a bright white light. That's it. See ya in 2010!
-Ben killing Jacob. I mean, whyyy. WHY. He was the best thing about the finale.
-Locke is really dead. Just...no.
-Jack/Juliet wanting to erase their lives because of broken hearts.
-Sawyer/Jack fighting like two 12 years olds.
-Miles is still alive while Juliet and Dan are dead. What kind of crap is this?
-Sawyer doesn't seem to have a mind of his own because I have no idea what his motivation was for going along with Jack's plan other than because Juliet was doing it. Least Kate had a valid reason although her switching up her mind at the last minute was retarded too.

The one moment I loved more than anything was Sun finding Charlie's DS ring. Other than that, it was all very underwhelming for me.

I think it's the guy in the beginning with Jacob. Somehow reincarnated into his bod? lol. Who knows.

Crystaline: I agree with most of your points! Except, I didn't mind the Sawyer & Jack fight since I feel like it's been a long time coming. I kind of laughed when Juliet mentioned them getting it out of their system.

And I didn't vote for Obama personally, but that screename is a tad rude IMO. He's still our President and therefore deserves respect but each to their own.

It was true. I kinda said the same thing... More along the lines of "finally they get it out!" lol

Yeah, you actually bring up some pretty good points. Your first two being my main gripes, including the fate of Juliet. I think most of the other lame stuff I was expecting so I kind of just let it roll off my back. Personally, for me (with the exception of the flashbacks) - I wasn't too into the Dharma scenes because I already knew where it was leading. However, I did get into the present-time story with Fake*Locke, Ben, and especially Jacob. I just think it's crazy stupido that Jacob got killed like that so damn soon. He was definitely my favorite character for this season's finale.

But I can see how a big Locke fan would be disturbed with the Locke revelation. I didn't mind him; however, I wasn't a huge fan and it's feeling weird to me. I thought the revelation was an intriguing one; however, at the same time - I can already feel the loss and I'm sympathizing with Locke's character. Wow, what a sucky ending for a guy that suffered so much. The thing that really sucks when the writers pull those "Tricks out of the rabbit hat" is that the character suddenly falls prey to a continuity beating, even if it's small. For instance - Richard's innuendo that when he made visits to Locke (after discovering from Locke himself that he would be their leader one day), that he didn't seem that special; thus, insinuating that Locke was "never leader material"? Eh - it's kind of a stretch for me after a good portion of the build-up with the island. I much prefer to believe that Locke was in fact the next "chosen leader"; however, "smokey/man 2" was able to take advantage of the situation and trick Locke off of the island so Ben could kill him. All that shmeel about Locke possibly being an average "nobody"? Kind of a crappy thing to do to the character, IMO.

*******

New speculation - is it possible that there are two cabins on that island? The one that belonged to Jacob (quite possibly where Christian/Claire are) and the cabin that Illana and her team sought out?

The only reason I ask is for this reason. I rewatched it again today and couldn't help but notice that the small "dwelling" that Rose/Bernard were living in during Dharma times (70s) looked identical to the one that Illana and her team uncovered. After investigating, Illana reported that "he" hasn't been there for a long time but then went on to say that "someone else" has been using the place. I'm thinking that's Rose/Bernard from the 70s which means this HE (whoever Illana is referring to) being in that dwelling probably pre-dates the Dharma times. The thing that led me to believe this was while Illana was investigating inside, I caught sight of the painting/picture on the floor. It looked like a painting/picture of the dog, Vincent, and Vincent was living with Rose/Bernard at their dwelling. I don't know, it made me curious.

I refuse to believe Locke will stay dead. I just can't accept that frakkery. What is this show without John Locke? Seriously. He deserves better.

This painting?

Because if so, it's been in the cabin those two other times, so that's nothing new. I think they probably just had a standard house looking type thing. I don't see why they'd be in his cabin, but I guess you never know, lol.

ETA: That picture scares the sht out of me.

Agree with all points except the Locke's death part. No, I'm not a big Locke fan, but I do recognize how bitter the Locke fans must be after his less-than-happy ending.

Jack and Sawyer.*sigh* I don't even know what the fck those two are fighting about. Why do they have to be pissed at each other all the time, I have yet to understand. It's like the writers have this mandatory clause going that since they are part of a romance triangle, they can't get along at all. What's more annoying is that the original triangle was practically non-existent this year and yet Sawyer and Jack are squabbling about something. Sometimes there are things that you don't want the characters to ever progress from. Then there are things you want to see definite growth and progress in. Jack/Sawyer growing up is what I want to happen on the show. It's been 5 seasons and they are still doing the same routine. It is utterly annoying. Almost as much as Locke's have faith-lose faith-cry a lot-come close to suicide-regain faith routine.

As for Miles, yeah, what's his use exactly? I'm sure he won't be conversing with dead Jacob.
