I hope so! But I have a feeling it wouldn't be for a while...but I really hope the writers give this story the justification it deserves! For me, its the only believable love story for Sawyer, or it was...after murdering the wrong guy, maybe he's just too cold to be in any relationship...but I think meeting and taking care of his daughter especially would help to redeem him and show him that there are all-good things in the world!

I would love for them to continue this story in some way. I'd like to see Sawyer get to meet Clem. I definitely think it's a possibility.

ITA! I really hope this story is continued , and concluded in the next 3 seasons. I loved Cassidy...and I truely think Sawyer would be a good Dad if he allowed himself to be!

I love how she just laughed at him when he tried to pull the briefcase trick on her, she saw right through that and Sawyer was really surprised...and probably impressed

seems like we're going into the right direction for a huge Ford Family reunion people! who else had a huge grin on their faces when we heard Sawyer's promise? *raises hands+feet* I was like "hell yeah that's the way to go dude!"

ITA Franci.There's a reason they kept this storyline.
They showed us Cassidy in Left Behind, and she was still very much in love with Sawyer, after all the things he did to her.How Diane said "You can't help who you love", just like Diane couldn't help but love Wayne, and Kate, Jack.
I think Sawyer needs her, a person who truly loves HIM.I think we're gonna see more of her and Clem next season, and maybe they'll go to the island too...or he will get off.

I knew the promise was about Clementine all along!

I will say this, I don't ship these two. I just want Sawyer to be with his daughter and if Cass is involved with that, then ok.

Sawyer is MEANT to be with Clementine. And I so hope we see them reunite. I will bawl like a baby.
