I think she was cute! I Never saw the actress before but i'm definitely going to give her a chance.

Now, is Nikki suppose to be the second female character brought on as a new main cast member (in addition to Juliet)? She's not only going to be recurring is she? We need all the female characters we can get!

i think the new main female cast member was Elizabeth Mitchell, the girl that plays Juliet.

i'm so excited to see kiele on such a popular show.. it's nice considering Related didn't get much recognition. Can't wait to see what they do with her character!

Well at the Honolulu premiere they announced here as a new cast member but in descriptions they list her as a guest start so I'm a bit confused about that.

Were people like Ana-Lucia, Libby and Eko listed as cast member or guest stars? Anyone remember?

ana-lucia, libby, and eko were all in the main cast credits.. not under the "guest star" title when they first started airing.

Yeah, Michelle (Ana), Cynthia (Libby), and Adewale (Eko) were all brought on as main cast members. Bernard/Rose were brought on as recurring characters.

The reason i was asking about the Nikki character was because in the summer the show put out a casting call for 3 new characters! One was suppose to be a latino male, another a woman in her 20s, and a 30s something woman with leadership quality (Juliet). It was my understanding that they were all suppose to be new, main cast members. I was assuming that Nikki was the other female character.

Yeah. She is. When they added Kiele she was named as one of the 3 new cast members

Okay, good. Thanks for clarifying that. I'm glad because we need another female addition after they killed 3 female off the show last season!

I know! We were only left with Kate and Sun and Claire. Am i missing someone?

I'm just excited to learn more about her character. I hope she's in next week's episode!

Nope, you're not missing anybody. Those are the only women we were left with at the end of season 2. Rose is only recurring so she doesn't really count.

Yeah, i hope Nikki doesn't get pushed to the background like poor Claire did, you know? I can't speak for all viewers; however, when a character is introduced as part of the main cast i like to see the character explored. We hardly see Claire and she is always kept in the background on the island except when she happens to get a flashback. Libby wasn't explored at all last season and then they killed her off. That was a waste.
