I rewatched the episode...and I have to say, I enjoyed it alot more.
Tidbit: In last week's episode, they threw in an Easter Egg. In a flashback scene, Locke was watching "Expose"...I caught it tonight during a re-watch. __________________

Lost did Little Miss Sunshine with Hurley's episode, now a CSI: Dharmaland?
I miss Shannon. And Maggie Grace. And how great the pilot was and this show used to be. Seriously, dude getting sucked into a turbine will never get old. Although this episode wasn't great (and still better than many shows currently on), it's a definite upgrade over Jack's mysterious tattoos. I didn't like the ending either because being buried alive is also one of my fears. And, really, who the hell are Nikki and Paulo? OT: I can't believe Rodrigo is Xerxes. |

Average episode.
The crash site scene didn't have much effect on me though. Nikki and Paulo didn't quite deliver during that scene. I'm just happy I saw Boone and Shannon again! __________________

Well, I liked this episode a lot. I am a fan of Rodrigo Santoro's work and I liked his job last episode.
I think their flashback should have aired when they were first introduced. Just like it happened with the passangers from the tail. That end was just creepy, when Nikki opened her eyes I wanted to scream. Creepy, creepy, creepy! __________________

I think more episodes need to happen like this, slightly more action. Things were actually happening in this episode, the past seasons things have slowed down so much
More importantly I wanted to ask, does anyone know the name of the actor that played Peter ______? The guy that was in locke's flashback who wanted to check out if Locke's dad was really a bad guy cause his mom was going to marry him. He looked familiar, but I can't find his character listed on imdb.com __________________

I haven't watched it yet, but I'd just like to pop in and say how much excited I was knowing Shannon and Boone were on this epi.

I really liked the episode, even though I don't care much for Paulo and Nikki and it didn't really advance the plot except that they have the walkie-talkie. So Paulo and nikki weren't as clueless as we all thought, and if the Losties actually talked, it might have saved Ana-Lucia and Libby's life.
Plus I nearly screamed when they put the sand over Nikki's face When Nikki put the snake on Paulo I was like, "she forgot about all the males coming, huh?" And then a spider crawls on her leg I think there is foreshadowing going on with the Expose thing... the guy that turned out to be 'the worm' or whatever it was and was thought to be one of the good guys... I think someone is or will be working with the Others, say Swayer, Jack or Locke. Loved Boone and Shannon coming back, but by the end of the episode I was sure they had forgotton about the gay thing. Don't tell me it was supposed be to Boone! I like bi!Boone, but he's off the show. What a dissapointment. __________________

I thought that this was an okay filler episode, although at the beginning I kept thinking "I want to know about what's happening with The Others". Paulo and Nikki have always bored me because they took away from the other's screentimes and they just seemed to have popped out of nowhere, as Sawyer kept reminding us which I thought was a nice shoutout to non fans of theirs.
I really thought Paulo and Nikki were dead until, obviously, the very last few minutes. Although now I'm kind of scared of spiders. But this episode went really slowly for me (maybe because after last week's amazing episode, I expected even better) until the very end with the being buried alive thing. I've always been creeped out by the thought of dying like that and it was extra creepy the way Nikki just opened her eyes while they were throwing sand on her. I'm glad both she and Paulo are gone though. |
