Dude I know! What's that about? I was practically skipping out of work on Friday only to look around last night in realization that it was Sunday. The weekends have started going by way too fast lately.

My weekends don't even feel like weekends because I have SAT classes... has anyone ever taken that stuff? It's so stupid... they teach you crap you already know and you pay for it too... by the time you realize it's crap you already know, the 10-day refund period is already over!

I took the SAT's three times actually. Once in seventh grade as an advanced program sponsored by Johns Hopkins, and then in my junior and senior year. I actually didn't do too bad on them without taking prep classes. I guess rec'g to not take them doesn't help you much now though, does it?

i only took the SATs once, i think. i can't remember but i know it was my last year in high school.

I'm sure you kids are smart. I'm dumb and unmotivated. I think I tested top ten percentile in that seventh grade test. Ours was sponsored by Duke... but I'm really nervous about the PSATs... I want to get National Merit... Any tips?

Well the best advice I could give you is to NOT be nervous. You'll end up making yourself sick and not doing well. Just prepare for the test like you would any other, and don't worry about what bar you set for yourself. Do the best you can and be happy with that. No pressures, they always end up backfiring. At least in my experience

I'll keep that in mind. I don't know. I tend to stress all but five minutes before the test. I procrastinate a lot and I'm not sure if I'll study enough. I think I'm smart enough without studying because I know all the vocab and stuff if I try... but I think I have ADHD because at the ends of the tests I bombbbb. I just start circling random answers just to be done with the test. I shouldn't do that should I...

I actually never studied for any of my tests. And I scored in the top 1 percentile on some of them. I think it all depends on how you learn things and how you store that knowledge. Everyone is different.

But yeah, randomly circling isn't the best way to go

I feel like a fledgling because I recently joined after completely forgetting my sn and pass, so I don't like starting threads as much as I enjoy whoring them like a two cent hooker off Montrose... Not that there are hookers on Montrose... or that I would know... Ahem! Could we just throw some title like "Chocolate Cake for All" and be done with it?
