I love them two together. I remember that video from ages ago when Bryan told James he was becoming a permanent cast member on the show. What happened? Seems like the higher ups changed their minds. Boo!!

I have no clue. Just looking at that video I always thought he was happy to be made a permanent cast member. Like it never officially happened and it just seemed really weird that he would say that to James and then suddenly want to go off and do other things. I don't know.

It seems that it was Mark who want to make him permanent cast member, but they never gave him contact to be permanent one since Bryan turn it down or whatever it is.. I can't remember exact..

Like Jake and Nathan didn't get much either. It was mainly Lucas early on before Jake spent most his time with Peyton.

Yeah even tho at least he already have other jobs while he went back and forth during first to third season..

I know. I just wish he would've stayed. It rounded them out to the perfect six. Other shows were very even with their young casts for the most part. Like Julian became that six in later years and while I liked him, I would've traded out for Jake in a hot second.
