Earl calling her family in 4X01 just me.

Yeah. It was amazing to hear him call her family.It was so sweet. He definitely predicted the future. After years of calling her his future daughter in law, it came true.

He also showed up to help Zoe with her house in season 3 cause he thought Joel was her brother.

Which means Wade wasn't talking about her. Which you'd think would have made Earl curious.

That could be it. If Wade still talked about Zoe like he did in the very beginning, Earl might not of thought that they broke up. Though I'm not sure how he never picked up on it in 3x01 when they were barely speaking and when Zoe told earl that she didn't live in Bluebell anymore. I guess he thought that Wade and Zoe were still together in that episode.

hahaha guess so. And I am sure that he saw how they were with each other when Zoe did move back to Bluebell that Earl might have still saw the chemistry between Wade and Zoe despite Zoe being with Joel that he didn't really think anything of it.

Remind me, did Earl ever see Zoe with Joel?

There were no scenes with them seeing each other. But when Earl was working on Zoe and Joel's house thinking that it was Zoe and Wade's, he mentioned that he thought they were brother and sister, so I guess we can assume that Earl did see them, but off screen.

Glad he wasn't forced to endure both Joel and Vivian.

yeah, I don't know how much he actually saw Vivian and Joel. We know that Earl at least saw Vivian once. But Earl was definitely still for Wade and Zoe even when they weren't together. At least he saw their sparks when they were broken up. But I bet it was easy for him to see through it because of how their relationship started.

Love all the Earl talk. He was great and I loved how he always knew that Wade and Zoe would end up together He was a fun character and they all had great interactions with hem both.
