I loved him in this movie because he wasn't anything but a regular person in this movie. His characters always seem to have some slant, but he was a regular jo strugging with his problems. Very attractive.
Plus he looks darn hot in it. I loved Eddie. He cracks me up. I loved how VM played the 'secret' about Santa Cruz. He truly looked embarrassed. __________________

I need to watch this movie again. I wish Eddie and Gwen ended up together.

I just saw this movie a few days ago I absolutely loved it, espicially the very last part with the Santa Cruz actor and viggos facial expression when the guy blew him off. It was soo cute. I wished he also would have gotten together with Gwen I though for sure that was gonna happen.

Anyway. I like this movie much more than I did when I first saw it. It's a real hard look at addiction from an entertaining POV, but no less real. I loved Sandra's performance and after listening to the DVD commentary it's easy to appreciate the fact that the movie was done by people who knew the subject. Viggo's Eddie was a hoot!! I loved everything about him because in my list of love the first three things are: 1. God 2. My mom 3. Baseball So Viggo playing a pitcher absolutely rocks. A pitcher who watches soaps! Now, how great was Santa Cruz, he has "tiny clusters" This movie is funnier the second/third time around because you're not worrying wether Gwen and Eddie end up together Which they don't, of course, damn. In the DVD commentary it's explained that two addicts probably wouldn't be a good choice to be a couple after rehab, etc... But IT'S VIGGO. Who cares! __________________

Well, when they advertised 28 Days, they advertised it like it was a comedy. So when I saw it in the theatres, I was expecting a comedy. It wasn't a comedy at all. Yes, some things were funny but it was quite serious in alot of things.
I do love that Eddie loved Santa Cruz, alot of athletes do love soaps. |

This is def not just a comedy. I laugh and laugh at the funny bits but the serious scenes get all my respect.

Sandra Bullock does it all so well. She really nailed the character.
