Milo was actually supposed to get his own spinoff show for Jess, which is why they broke up, but the show never happened. He got Heroes instead.

Heroes came a couple of years later, Heroes was airing its first season during Gilmore’s last season. The spin off would have happened during season 4 of Gilmore Girls.
