Even though it probably indicated that they're not seeing each other for the last time. BUT I really want to forget that part of the series actually exists. Some parts were good, but most of the characters were extremely OC.

It’s really the reason why reboots don’t work, I feel the viewers/ fans expect the characters to grow and be a certain way, but the writers haven’t written these characters in years and forced to and it seems they have the characters pick up from where they were and it doesn’t make sense.

Like how could Luke and Lorelai never have talked about kids in the years since the show ended, like at the age they were that’s a conversation that would happen. But I guess it was easier for storyline purposes to say the never did even though it didn’t make sense.

I think part of it was this was part of Amy’s original plan for season 7 so that’s why the characters feel stagnant

And spent more time on the main characters, we didn’t need the whole musical thing. Would have been better too if they referenced more of what happened in the years between.

There were so many ways it could have been better.
