Discussion thread for what we can do as a protest to get NBC to air the few episodes they have left now because of the strike.

Note: If we do decide on doing anything, it will be so the show can get a proper finale, not another season. I know we all really love Scrubs, and while it will be incredibly sad to see it go, it is time for it to.

Now, what are some ideas?

Just to repeat the stuff we were talking about on the Elliot/JD board, I kind of like the idea of sending some item along with letters pleading our case. If nothing else, we'll know we tried and maybe, if it gets back to the cast/crew/writers/etc. they'll know fans care.

Some of the stuff we discussed (jokingly or not) were bedpans, (cheap?)Scrubs, plastic stethoscopes, etc. IF we did decide on something like this, we could get the word out across the various online communities, NBC mssge board, etc. The important thing is making sure the message is, like you said, clear for everyone: proper finale, not new season. But those are just thoughts.

My idea is really boring, but maybe a livejournal petition or something like that as well? So NBC can see how many people want Scrubs to have a proper finale.

There have been many petitions, sadly NBC has their head to far up their butts to care about it.

I think it's time to do something more than a petition, something that really shows how angry we are... I say let's try and get more people on this thread, let's spread the word. Then we'll decide what to do.

I cannot remember exactly what show, but some fans sent a plane with a message trailing behind across a studio once for something similar.

Was it Everwood? I remember them doing something. Not that it worked cause the idiot at CW said that was a sign that fans wanted 7th Heaven back.

I love the idea of sending scrubs, someone already suggested that over at the jelliot thread and I think it's a brilliant idea!

I do. I posted the news that Scrubs isn't the feb. schedule of nbc on the imsosuperman scrubs community and some of them were pretty pissed.

Others think that they are holding the episodes so they can play them where there is nothing left. I'm not that optimistic anymore. Zach and Bill said if the strike isn't resolved then no nothing, and being as that is the creater and the star saying that, they obviously know more about it then we do.

alot of people with "inside" information are saying the strike is ending soon
so hopefully nbc will tell them to shoot the remaining ones

They are shot, there are 6 that are shot, the rest weren't written yet because of the strike.

I thought we can make a community on LJ, or just a new thread here and have people post why NBC is wrong and stupid. Then send them links to it over and over and over and over and over and over again. .
