I didn't actually want him to leave, even if I was tired of the storyline he had towards the end.

I was somewhat satisfied when he showed up in season 7, but I hated that they were still acting as though the source mess was his fault. The only thing I liked was Phoebe being able to sense Cole.

Agreed, it's not all his fault what happened but it was nice to see Cole come back in a kind of lighter light in Season 7. I wished for another Phoebe/Cole scene but it was a better ending then the 100th episode for sure.

Yeah I think Phoebe would have changed her mindset about Cole then. Considering she was very negative and condescending towards him in S8.

It would have been nice for her to know that she wasn't wrong about the type of person Cole was. I did, however, like how Piper referred to Cole as an old friend.
