And, yes the storylines. Bleh. Like Nanny Carrie possessive of Jamie is one thing, but wanting to implant herself in their lives, as if Nathan would be her husband. Ugh. Reminds me of The Surrogacy Trap. That movie was creepy. But, anyway, the whole misunderstanding between Nathan and Haley, as if he would cheat. And she always doubts him on cheating. When she's the one who kind of cheated. Granted it was when they were 16, but kissing someone, saying it was a goodbye kiss (which seemed more than that, and never got explained), then, running away. It's all. The storylines. The lack of continuity. It didn't make sense. __________________

Yes. It is nice. But, after reading Hilarie's story. I totally understand why she wouldn't want to stick around. Chad. I'm assuming was just over it. He seems over a lot of things, easily. Honestly, I always thought James was the better actor. It has nothing to do with Chad and Sophia, or even the revival with Chad's wife taking a swipe at Sophia. It's just, honestly, I never found his acting convincing. Not when he was in love with Peyton. Not when he was in love with Brooke. Not when he was a good guy. Not when he was convincing me of anything. James is no Al Pacino, but he can act better.
I guess that's why I liked NH best. Because only two good actors could convince me to stick with that show and that couple, after all the dumb storylines thrown at them. And all this certain showrunner did was make Hilarie cry all the time. And, Lucas, any time Chad channeled his character and tried to convince any number of women he loved them, it was like, am I being Punk'd? Honestly, whoever said it should have ended at season 6, was right. Because the way they added extra characters, it was more like, let's just see how long this show will last. That's probably why they had four separate finales. At least Naley got their happy ending. The stable couple lasts the length. That made me happy, that at least all the curveballs, they didn't break up. __________________

There was literally no reason for the show to continue past season 6. |
