Him being bitter at Hilarie is dumb considering we don't even know that she chose to leave or agreed to - was that ever confirmed, I was told a while ago she didn't, but I wasn't around then so idk.

Hilarie said she chose to leave the show alongside Chad, so I think that's where Mark's bitterness comes from.

I was told there is a video that suggests she didn't actually want to leave but that she had to

It could have ultimately been her choice but if it was one she had to make then the bitterness makes no sense.

There is, but she has said in numerous interviews that she chose to leave alongside Chad. Plus there were rumours of an storyline with Dan in S7 that got axed when she left it and that's why Mark was bitter.

Maybe she felt she had to leave because she heard what they were planning to do with Peyton with Chad gone? If that's the case, probably for the best.

I would have not wanted to watch that. I am so glad that didn't happen. It may have ruined the whole show for me!
