i havent' seen the unaired pilot and i don't plan to. to me, bethany fits the role of Haley perfectly right the get-go. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] and plus, she;s heavenly beautiful...that's a bonus. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Joie totally did an awesome acting job yesterday, it was unbelievable. When she first found all that porn stuff, I cringed, and then when she was talking to Nathan I cringed some more. (Out of her pain guys.) Then I also loved her last sentence in the episode, when she held his hand and said I gave you my heart... It was so beautiful, not many actresses can really bring out the writing like that. I completely agreed with Mal's post, I don't think she overreacted at all, it's how a normal g/f would react, then the Peyton pics, eek, not good for the curren g/f to see. I also loved what she wore when she was talking to Peyton, it was very pretty. All in all, another great performance by Joie! (as always!)

Hey BJL fans just popin in to show my support for this fine actress. Man was she great or what, she blew me away in her scenes with James. Haley broke my heart and I really felt for her. I can't wait for next week though it looks great.

ITA with you and Mal both beautifully said .. i LOVED the outfit she was wearing ! and definetly a great job by BJL.. but of course im just repeating what you just said so [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

BJL is haley (not the other way around). she practically owns the character. so im glad, too, that BJL was chosen to replace that reagan girl. but who isnt? [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] if you guys watch the pilot, you can still see some shots of samanta shelton. like for instance in the scene where lucas/peyton/nathan were at the library, she was the redhead girl sitting next to lucas. she was also in the scene where nathan/lucas had their one-on-one bball game. she was the first person lucas hugged after he had won the game. look for her...but only if you want to. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

omg don't do it! guys take it from me! don't watch the unaired pilot! it's just so odd and off, and just... i don't no, wrong! i just watched the end of the pilot that made it to the wb,and saw "her" hugging lucas... [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] the editors on OTH need to be fired!

thanks to ulysses, it now makes perfect sense to me: haley wants nathan to be a man and if nathan cant be that...insert joie's opinion.

this is late and i dunno if i should post this here. re: the porn issue, i admit that when i first saw the scene, i thought haley overreacted a bit. i mean if i caught my bf cheating on me with porn, id just tease him about it like lucas. however, i realize that her reaction fit quite well within the storyline cuz it eventually lead her to question her own reaction, her insecurities. she was well aware that she couldve been overreacting over the whole thing, which shows that she's got some insight and that she's not self-absorbed. so when she was using nathan's computer the next day, i thought at that moment, haley had cooled down a bit and had almost forgotten about the porn sites until she saw...voila, the infamous peyton pics! that's when i got irked and thought that haley's reaction to the pics, this time, was rational. i felt for her. and BJL blew me away as usual!
