PROM NIGHT IN MYSTIC FALLS — After making a decision that infuriates Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies) proposes a life-changing challenge for Rebekah (Claire Holt). Caroline (Caroline Accola) finds that her carefully laid plans for the perfect Senior Prom night are disrupted by Elena (Nina Dobrev), so she turns to an amused Klaus for a solution. Determined to get through to Elena, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) both attend the prom, but the evening begins to spiral out of control despite their efforts. When Elena suddenly lashes out in a way no one could have predicted, Matt (Zach Roerig) turns to Rebekah for help. Finally, Bonnie (Kat Graham) makes a terrifying discovery, and Klaus receives a message that could change everything.

There were also other definitions that simply labelled it as bitch and controlling girlfriend.

they are not going to kill tyler off and then have klaus come say goodbye to caroline at her graduation. the one-girl-trope must not get destroyed. everything is for her.

also, tc will get ONE scene. they don't have to put that in the synopsis. and I hardly believe it will be closure. caroline was hardly looking for closure in the last episodes. and why would tyler come to town to break up with her or tell her to move on? he already wrote a letter.

then what's your theory?
that's the best I could come up with and I must confess I only thought of it because I read it in a fanfic...
I really don't know what else he could come to. To share a dance with her at prom? it seems so... pointless? And also like they're throwing TC fans bones. I don't know, I think it's for closure, but then again I think the whole thing makes no sense!

its prob to fill out the minimum required number of episodes for his contract......it will prob be something lame like i came to take you to prom, but oh i have to leave again. BYE!

he doesn't have a minimum required because they changed their mind about bringing him. He wasn't supposed to appear this season again. Then they brought him back to 4x19.

This title is so accurate. I'm actually really sad this season is almost over, it's been a great display of writing and acting.

Maybe the TC scene will be Tyler telling Caroline he's alright, he's made new friends and he's living his life blah blah, so she doesn't have to worry about him ~until they find a way.

I think the TC scene when Tyler first left was not to meant to be closure but instead a grand goodbye which was sort of cheapened by Caroline's constant phonecalls to Tyler. Now this might actually serve as a goodbye when Tyler shows up at the prom. It might be the push she needs to move on for some time...not to Klaus but on with herself.

well Flora ruined my theory so i can't come up with anything good either. I thought Klaus would allow Caroline to go looking for Tyler but he is still not allowed to come back to MF. so Caroline meets up with him and then returns to MF because she still wants to graduate with her friends. but Flora told me Tyler comes back to MF. so he might wanna surprise her, because parties are her thing and prom means so much to her. IDK. it is pointless. and it's like the ToD. because both sides of the triangle have to be addressed. nothing makes sense on this show and JP is a chicken for not addressing the conflicts of her precious triangles. but it's been like this since the beginning.

my mother traveled back to my hometown yesterday, so I ate for three days like a crazy, but barely ate today

I think that's what he's coming to do as well. as for the phone calls. Isn't that their thing? Didn't she do it last season as well?

I think Season 1 and Season 2 were the best seasons. Season 1 is my favorite, but Season 2 is a close second. Season 3 was the absolute worst and this one ain't too great either.

I like S2 the most but S1 was good too. S3 I thought sucked while it was airing but now that I've seen S4, I think it's okay.
