Why wouldn't he be there? That guy better be a witch hunter that kidnaps him for a while. I don't want any main characters killed THIS early

Ok so this a totally random thought, but it pops into my head every time they mention the teens dying in the fire, which they did a lot tonight since Cassie was searching for answers about that night, but according the show's story all of the Circle's parents were married as teens and had babies, also as teens, all around the same time. Is that the story in the books? That the circle before this circle were all married teen parents? Or did the writers just unknowingly create a crazy backstory?

I remember when there were rumors floating around aboout Jake being Nick's brother who was supposed to dead.
