I just want to know one way or the other what the CW wants to do. I'm sure we'll hear soon enough about the filming schedule too.
24 is a good example of a show that works well with the consecutive episodes, and the ratings are always still good. The cable stations (like HBO and Shwotime) have always been on that track. But I do remember "Alias" slightly faltering when it premiered in January. It's a huge risk by a network that pretty much seems to be run by monkeys. But yeah, I agree. I can totally see OTH coming back a lot sooner to replace one of the CW major "hits." |

I like being spoiled for this show but damn this will be a lot of spoiler leak!
And I know I won't be able to stay away because I want to know what's coming. But it's a dangerous move kind of with a show like this I think. And the CW is just so messy I think a lot of people won't even know when and if OTH will even come back when they dont see it for what 6 months or so. __________________

so right now we're looking at a midseason, with 22 eppys and no hiatus? i kinda like that, but the whole midseason thing sucks for me!

Well, it doesn't bother me so much though. I'm fine if it takes a long ass hiatus...but I think it's weird that CW keeps bringing it back when it's so obvious the network hates the show and treats it like crap.

I was told that contracts were 6 seasons with the option to pick up a 7th. Sophia's is the only one whose is different and I'm not sure what hers is.

taking that long of a break is bad for the show I think. This show has never been a ratings grabberl and for people who aren't fanatic like us will probably forget about it, lose interest or decide not to watch.
We will have a lot of spoilers which could be good for us because we would know if we still wanted to watch but maybe not good for the show. __________________
