Peyton gets a bit edgy with Mia and it seems she's expecting a phone call. Lucas and Peyton have a scene in her office here Peyton seems to be hiding something from Lucas. Just as Lucas and Dixon discuss a possible tragic ending for the movie, we find out that it was the doctor from whom Peyton was expecting the call.

ONE TREE HILL "We Three (My Echo, My Shadow and Me)" (9:00-10:00 p.m.) Series star Chad Michael Murray wrote the episode, which pays homage to films of the 1940s.
-According to a network source, the CW has ordered 23 episodes of OTH for season six. Also, this source has reported that this will be OTH's last season, much to the displeasure of the CW.

-The part of indie movie producer 'Julian Beckett' will be played by Austin Nichols. According to TV guide, he is scheduled for 10 episodes.

You guys bring up good points. I kinda wonder where we'd all be if Jake and Brooke hadn't pulled their head out of their asses in seasons 3 and 4, respectively. I don't like that LP settle for other people, but i think it comes from not wanting to disappoint or hurt the other person. its not that they'd be miserable with that person, just not as happy as they know they can be.

Yep, LP have tried to settle for 2nd best before but its just never proved to be enough

If they were then LP would be the grand universal couple that would be loved by all and loved in the same way. Personally, I feel that in this show, NH fits that mould more. But obviously this isn't the case. Maybe this is just their concept of LP - fate, destiny, blah blah blah.... and while it may not appeal to some, it obviously does not cheapen LP's present relationship to many others. C'est la vie

Agreed. Lucas would be married by now, due to his settling. Ironically, Peyton would be, too. So I don't agree with the title. (Nor do I particularly like it...

)
