It was back in season 1 and she didn't kill him, she just didn't do anything when he went into cardiac arrest.

Serena didn't kill anyone. Her and Georgina were partying with some guy during Serena's "wild days" and he overdosed on drugs and died, and Serena blamed herself, thinking she had "killed him." Serena then went away and had a falling out with Georgina. Georgina came back at the end of Season One and she tried to blackmail Serena to revert to her old ways, and the NJBC (Non-Judgmental Breakfast Club) of Nate, Blair and Chuck helped her out, and Blair got rid of Georgina for her by calling Georgina's parents and convincing them to send her to a "boot camp."
