sorry if I'm not explaining it well...what I meant initially was, evn if Abby made some command to Clarke to stay at the camp, I don't think Clarke would obey her. I think she'd find a way to do whatever it is she feels like she needs to do.

Okay.

I will always feel like it's so dumb that there are these kids running around the extremely dangerous forest, falling off cliffs and getting shot with arrows, etc. Now that there are trained guards with guns, Clarke shouldn't need to go out there to get Finn. They should really just be asking Abby to send out a search party of qualified adults.

They're all hypocrites though. Like Bellamy would do things for Octavia he wouldn't do for others, and same for Finn or Clarke for the people they care about. I'm sure she'll eventually come around, but I'm not gonna hold it against her if she's not for Clarke leaving again and putting herself at risk already.

Yeah I'm seeing it like this now. Clarke was just out there and almost got killed. Abby's going to be scared anytime Clarke leaves the camp now.

Yeah. But the problem is in the show concept. I think it's pretty stupid of the showrunners to make a teenage fantasy story about kids running things on their own and building their own society away from the stupid adults... and then bring back all of the stupid adults with all of their maturity and equipment and technical knowledge so that it makes no logical sense for the story to continue to be about teenagers running things on their own.

I feel like it's a Wile E. Coyote situation where the plot has run out over a cliff and it's not dropping out of pure emotion and blindness to reality. Like as long as you don't think about what would actually make sense in this situation, you can continue to be indignantly rooting for the kids to rule the universe.

Same. I really was not expecting that. I'm really upset. She was one of my favorite charcaters and I was dying to see her and Clarke become freinds and work together.

I think the writers did it because it will be that much more difficult now to get the Grounders to find peace with the Sky People. The Grounders will find out who killed Anya.
