Betsy was with Beast? If not, I always felt like Beastneeded some real love. Though I did always wonder what happened in the bedroom with him, because he had SOOOO much hair. lol

Beast is my favorite character. He's awesome. And so funny. I think he's pretty underused. So I'm glad Joss and Grant Morrison have been writing him.
For awhile I thought he'd get with Emma, but that didn't happen. __________________

Hey, I just found out that they cast Beast for X-Men 3.
Kelsey Grammer. No joke. No quite sure how I feel. Also, Maggie Grace (from "Lost") is in talks to play Shadowcat, and Angel is going to be in the movie too. |

I can see Kelsey Grammar as Beast. Especially with the voice. Are they going to do CGI?

Matthew Vaughn said in the interview that they were "building the suit".
So I think it's going to look spectacular. |

Yeah, but I don't think it has the heart it used to.
And it's also a lot less exciting. Though this AoA thing seems like it's gonna get cool. |

That's why I asked. I gave it up months ago, b/c it just wasn't the same for me. But I'll try to catch up sometime.
Random Thoughts: I loved the last issue of Astonishing (#10). I thought it was amazing. I've been enjoying the X-23 and Phoenix minis. And god help me Excalibur, Chris Claremont has been focused and is making sense. I love that he's reaffirming Archangel as a strong X-Man. __________________

I just finished reading the new Astonishing too, and I thought it was great. Another strong issue that delivers what is promised: a good time.
X-23 and Phoenix are pretty good as well. I'm definitely seeing them through to the end. __________________

I've never read any of the X-Men: The End series. I've only read the first couple of issues of the Wolverine one.

I have the first issue of Wolverine: The End, but never read it.
I read the first few X-Men: The End, but haven't really kept up with it. My favorite "The End" book is the Punisher one, it was so good. __________________

Hey guys, ok, I got into X-Men with the movies, and have read a few of the comics but not many...so I was wondering if someone could fill me in on something:
What exactly is Wolverine/Logan's story...what happened to him.... |

Hi Anji!
Wolverine was originally a person names James Howlett. He discovered he was a mutant at puberty, his claws were bones then. He was taken in by a program called Weapon X, which was run by the Canadian government. His skeleton was laced with a (fictional) metal called adamantium. He was trained as a killer for Canada. He's lost almost all of his memory, so he's constantly searching his past. And of course he joined the X-Men. That's pretty much a capsule review. Wolvie's past is really complicated and convoluted. Let me know if that's helpful at all. __________________
