Oh man, Torso with Todd MacFarlane? That project's pretty much screwed...

FromBloody Disgusting:

Quote:
Nick Stahl is traveling to "Sin City" for Dimension Films, Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.

The film, composed of three intertwining vignettes revolving around a dark set of characters who call the fictional corrupt town home, is based on Miller's graphic novel series and is shooting in Austin, Texas.

Stahl, who is in final negotiations to join the cast, would play the dual roles of Junior and Yellow Bastard, sources said. Stahl's co-stars include Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jaime King, Jessica Alba, Elijah Wood and Brittany Murphy. Rodriguez and Miller co-wrote the script and are co-directing and co-producing the film.

Rodriguez's partner, Elizabeth Avellan, also will produce through their Troublemaker Studios label. Stahl will segue from "Sin" to another season of "Carnivale" for HBO.

I think that Sin City was gonna be decent, but it is shaping up to have an all star cast. I think it may be one of my must see movies.

Plus, it's been kicking a$$ at Hollywood Stock Exchange, so I like that too.

Is it just me, or is it annoying that Robert Rodriguez changed his studio name to Troublemaker? I realize it's the English translation of his previous name, but it feels too mainstream to me...

Desperado didn't seem mainstream to me; more so than El Mariachi, but not nearly to the degree that Once Upon A Time in Mexico was.

I leave you all with this:

Yay! I love Christian Bale.

Charlize Theron as Jinx? I haven't read the GN, but I've looked through it. It's on my to read list.

I've been meaning to check out older Bendis too; only thing I got is Fortune and Glory, which is pretty good.

I can't believe I'm actually interested in it, but to be honest, I'm looking forward to Batman Begins. It sounds promising.

Two words; George Clooney.

Let us never complain again, unless Adam West tries out for the role. Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the "camp classic" after getting older...

Aw...you mean you don't long for the days of 'shark repellant' and 'atomic dust separators'? No? How about Robin's various 'Holy [insert stupid comment here]' exclamations? No?

Me either.

The Bat Safety Belts? The special speakerphone that converted Alfred's voice into Batman's, while he was across the street, staying away from the Commissioner to "avoid giving him his cold"?

Heh.
