Yep. It's the largest sci-fi/fantasy convention in the US (some say in the world). They have anything to do with sci-fi/fantasy such as tv shows, movies, comics, and manga and anime. They have gaming and LARPers. They have filking and goth stuff.

It's in Atlanta, GA and it's held every Labor Day weekend. www.dragoncon.org has all the info plus pictures of previous cons and previous guests. I forgot to mention they do books and cosplay. It's crazy and totally fun. There's anime panels and an anime room where they show anime around the clock for the whole 4 days or so.

I finally finished Martian Successor Nadesico. It's good. It kind of pokes fun at itself and the ending was good. It wasn't a happy everyone wins kind of ending but it was satisfying.

I met people who came from England to DragonCon and they've been for 4 years. It's crazy fun.

Martian Successor Nadesico is a sci-fi space/mech anime. I thought it was very cute and a little predictable but fun.

I finished Pretear and I love it. I got teary eyed in the last episode.

Dragon Con sounds like a lot of fun. I envy those that get to go...well, when I get my own car, maybe then I'll take a road trip.

I have the Pretear manga, but i haven't seen the anime yet. Mostly because i know its a sad ending and i'm not sure if i can take that. The manga was finished after the anime, so i think they changed the ending for the manga to a happier ending.

The Pretear anime ends up happy but you have sad parts in the last episode. There are several sad parts. I kind of spoiled myself but what I read didn't happen so I guess I'm glad I didn't know. I can't believe that in a week or so I've finished three anime series. I feel kind of sad.

But I'm getting ready to watch Gantz. I'm still watching Samurai Champloo and Naruto and Inuyasha.

The last anime series i finished was Ah!My Goddess and the movie. I'm still watching Naruto, Magical DoReMi ( hoping it'll get better) and Bottle Fairy whenever i can find it ( i only have 2 episodes) Whenever i find an anime series i like ebay always has it sooo expensive or not availble at all.

I'm currently watching Full Moon Wo Saga****e..I'm at episode 16, but I heard it's going to be better after episode 26 or something, is that right?

I'm also waiting for new honey&clover, only 3 episodes to go till season 1 is finished.

There's only 2 episodes per disc of Gantz. And Gantz is a very mature anime. Very adult themes and stuff which I didn't read about when I got the anime off of netflix so I was very suprised in the first episode. But it looks to be interesting.

Can anyone recommend a cutesy romance/fantasy anime? I didn't like Marmalade Boy and Love Hina got annoying for me. But I love DNAngel, Pretear, Fruits Basket, Bleach and the mangas of Hana Kimi and Hot Gimmick.

Try Chobits. It has the cutesy/romance thing in it, but it also has some adult things because its alittle pornagraphic sometimes.

I've finished Chobits. I like it. I might try Azumanga Daioh.
