Dreamy rules. And, accents are always nice.

I tried to find pictures to show you the dreaminess, but he's apparently not that photogenic.
Either that, or he's really much dreamier when you see him move around, react to people and smile than just smiling in a picture. __________________

Ah, he has lots of chemistry, that doesn't yet show up in pictures.
Jimmie's crew chief, Chad, is like that. I appreciate you trying though. OH! I forgot-Meaghan and Sam Huntington are in a movie together that they're filming. __________________

Well, that is awesome.
I`ll have to be on the lookout for that movie. But, yeah, I don't think Jean's dreaminess communicates properly in 2-D. It's the charm. It comes out of his pores when you see him move around. It doesn't show on print, though. __________________

I understand that completely. I'll be sure not to go searching for pics of him on my own.
Yeah, I have to go back and get the name of the movie. __________________

It's The Artist.
Anyway, I guess he's not Hollywood handsome. His teeth are totally white, but they're uneven and he has that European nose that's really long. But, I don't know, I don't care. Or it fits. Oh, and when he won his Oscar? The man totally cussed on live television, at the mike and everything. But, you know, he did it in French, so the censor guys didn't catch it. Ooops! I don't know if that's relevant to a person's enjoyment, or lack thereof, of the man, but I thought it was pretty cool because he really seemed SO happy in that moment. It was like when Cuba Gooding Jr won, only shorter. __________________

Only shorter. It must have been.
I love true expressions like that. I can't explain it, but I'd much rather see that than subdued. Jimmie is like that-I'd rather he lose it once in a while. __________________

Well, that's the thing with Jean Dujardin during this awards season (in the United States anyway). He doesn't really speak English. I mean, he can. But he's obviously not fluent or super comfortable in that language.
He's won a lot of awards and, every time, he's delivered little speeches, very wonderful and funny, but obviously prepared in advanced and obviously feeling the linguistic constraints of not being able to express himself fully. Then the Oscar comes around... and it's like cork exploded right off the champagne bottle, you know? I mean, he started off with the usual prepared remarks. And I don't mean to make them sound trivial. He really conveys his gratitude and appreciation and he is obviously sincere... but it's when he gets to the end and it just "gets" to him that he's won a freaking Oscar... He just lets a couple of expletives fly before saying "Merci beacoup, vraiment." (Thank you very much, truly.) It was nice to see. __________________

I would love that. There's nothing like genuine expression from the celebs, and also award shows.

Well, it sure was genuine that night.
Jean Dujardin didn't win in France, so maybe that contributed some to his enjoyment of the win in the United States. He did open with "I love your country." __________________

Might be that he isn't that appreciated in his country. I don't know.
Makes me wonder who loves our country, and why. __________________

No offense, but I would wonder the same thing.
I think perhaps Mr Dujardin appreciates the professional recognition. I'm not sure how seriously he's taken in France, though I do know of some serious roles he's played very well. __________________

Well, that makes sense for him. Recognition is nice when deserved.
Yeah, I'm really not sure why. __________________

I think we like to be validated.
Every last one of us. I think it's normal. __________________

Yes! Being validated is an awesome thing. I'm happy with "I hear you and I get that about you." kind of validation.
Validation that I'm not so different from the rest of the world. __________________
