Ariel, you remember in that scene about with Shelly putting the makeup on Veda...she told her how she always dreamed of going out to Hollywood to put makeup on all the movie stars, but she hadn't gotten there yet...and then after Veda looks at herself in the mirror with all the makeup on her, she tells her "Shelly, I would definitely hold up on that Hollywood thing."....what do you think she meant by that, I've always tried getting it and still all these years later don't fully get it, lol.

Oh I loved this movie. I was probably all of about 5 when I watched the first one, and I'm now almost 17, and I just grew up watching it. Along the way my dad got me the soundtracks and theyre probably the most played cds in my entire collection, and I have both on dvd.. they're probably the thing i remember most aside from mybest friend in my childhood!

ya vada was insulting but of course that time in the movie Vada was feeling sooo much she didn't like shelly at that point in time. I think in her 11 year old way that was rude and may be she wanted just to insult her...
