this movie makes me cry every time. i must say- the sequel didn't live up to the first one though.

honestly to pick a favorite scene. I know this is sooo weird but to me the death scenes were so powerful when I was 11 and still today as I am 24. When she is up in the tree remembering tomas J. The funeral (going down to the casket and realizing mr. Bixler was getting married) it tired up the summer. I also Love when The fish dies and thomas J said it swam awy. awww. MANDY Moments I can't even count okay the whole movie.

I am a lot like vada when I was little scared of the basement (dead people down there0 Lack of friends My grandma was my best friend and I lost her just before the movie. I really think I wasn't as tomboyish ad my dad is still married to my mom and my dad is not an undetaker but other than take ev3erytime I watch I see so much of me and who I became...

I identify with Vada very much as well, even now. In fact, I can't think of another character who I can relate more to.

I agree those were intense moments, I loved TJ telling her the fish had gotten away, that was so sweet of him.

I liked her. The scene at the end where Vada hugs her gets me every time.
