:new: A lot of announcements were just made regarding #DisneyInvestorDay
Lots of Star Wars stuff... Will be back later to post news :gone: |
A series of short anime films are on the way next year to Disney+ named Star Wars: Visions
The Star Wars saga is producing wayyyy too many new projects for me to care, but this one stood out to me  Japanese anime crews certainly know how to visually tell stories. :ufo: |

^ Not usually a fan of sequels to animated movies, so it'll be interesting to see how they follow this one up. Clever title change, though. :smirk:
:new: Netflix movie The Dig - |
I liked how the original Enchanted was a good hybrid between animated and live-action but yeah it should be interesting to see what they do with it
the original Enchanted ended so perfectly to me though |
It was a surprisingly sweet movie  Amy and Patrick had nice chemistry.
Appreciation for Laura Dern winning an Oscar last year for Netflix's MARRIAGE STORY  - |
ANOTHER Paranormal Activity movie is coming. Like... I had no idea, and also - CAN. THEY. STOP.? It's turning into the Saw franchise.
But for those who are interested and love the series regardless, here's info on its upcoming streaming release - Upcoming Netflix movie with Mila Kunis - |
Thanks for the news.

I watched LADY VENGEANCE, 2005 (the third film in Park Chan-wook's 'Vengeance' trilogy, with OLDBOY being the 2nd installment) on Amazon Prine.
One thing to say -- that murder scene where the victims' families confront the killer! That elevated the entire movie, for sure. |
Best App To Watch Movie
Can anyone recommend what is the best website or apps to watch movies and TV shows? I have been watching Flash and Arrow but I want to watch legends of tomorrow and SuperGirl, but Iflix doesn't have these shows...Thanks in advance!

Are those shows not on Netflix where you are?
Also the television board might be a better place to ask. |

Watched Dunkirk on Amazon.
Short review: It was so much better than TENET, and Fionn Whitehead did a great job in the lead part (considering I think it was his breakout role). One thing I'll say on the negative side: The character Harry Styles played was so awful and I was FURIOUS he lived after he basically was the cause of Gibson's death  Also Styles was completely overrated as an actor in this -- I'm gonna take a clever guess that the One Direction fans were behind most of the good reviews for him? Fionn and Anuerin Barnard (who should have been in it more :whip:) were miles better than him. But then again I guess this is what happens when you allow a pop singer who has never acted before to be a second lead in your blockbuster movie. This also clearly invited a younger fanbase to Christopher Nolan's film world, which I don't know how to feel about. I would much rather that people took his films seriously instead of just watching them because a pop star they have the hots for happens to be cast in it. :bubble: Would probably rate it 3.5/5 |

This director doesn't rate streaming as good for movie exposure.
Personally, I think he's talking garbage and films can look amazing at home (not everyone has small TVs, Denis ) but we know how directors like to blame poor reception of movies on lack of cinematic release  - |

There's a :new: movie coming to Netflix starring Leo DiCaprio, J-Law and more named Don't Look Up and here's a teaser ~
