Love Actually was my favorite movie of 2003.

I just loved it. It had a great story, great actors - and I just LOVED Alan Rickman. Even though he was kind of an a$$hole I felt sympathetic. Hm...

My favourite moment from the whole film...

[on sheets of poster board]
Mark: With any luck by next year
Mark: I'll be going out with one of these girls.
[pictures of beautiful supermodels]
Mark: But for now, let me say
Mark: Without hope or agenda
Mark: Just because it's Christmas
Mark: (And at Christmas you can tell the truth)
Mark: To me, you are perfect.
Mark: And my wasted heart will love you
Mark: Until you look like this
[picture of mummy]
Mark: Merry Christmas

[He walks away, she runs after him and kisses him and then runs back inside.]

Mark: That's enough. That's enough now.

Awwww
Omg, yes, a LA thread! And omg, that is so my fav. moment on the entire film too, I adore it more than anything! Mark/Juliet, Jamie/Aurelia, & Sam/Joanna are my favs! This has to be truly the best Romantic Comedy EVER!

OMG... that was my favorite scene in the movie. And I think Andrew Lincoln is pretty cute

Oh by the way: whoever said Love Actually wasn't well received in the UK???

The British Film Institute published a list of the 100 Ultimate Films. It is the definitive list of the all-time top 100 films based on UK cinema admissions estimates. Love Actually came in at No. 77 with 8.76 million attendances. That's of all movies that have been shown in the UK.

I just watched it w/the commentary & that was hilarious! I loved them all talking about just how good looking Colin Firth was, & then dissing Hugh Grant's acting, lol. And how Hugh kept dissing Colin, lol- that was a cute commentary. And kinda neat how the young boy, Thomas aka Sam was a part of it. I loved them making him look away during the sexual parts, LOL!

Thomas didn't say much, though - if I remember it right.
I loved the deleted scenes. Especially where Harry (Alan Rickman) suggests giving their son Bernard up for adoption since they do have another - nice - child

It was recently mentioned in Colin's Today Show interview.

I have the dvd but never had watched it when they did the comintary. I now know what im watching tonight. My favorite storylines have to be the Mark/Juliet, Sam/Joanna, and Jamie/Aurelia as well.

I loved that deleted scene! But then again, any extra footage of Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman is most welcome. I loved what happened next:

Karen: Oh God. Since when did my bottom stop being my bottom and turn into Britain's second largest sea port?
Harry: Don't be rude, I've invested a lot of time and emotion in that bottom.

Aw. It made what happen in the end that much sadder. Her fabulous acting made me cry, with her scene in the bedroom. Joni Mitchell playing in the background and Emma Thompson crying, I lost it. I swear, I cry whenever she cries, in every single one of her bloody movies.

Sasha, you're incredible with posting these links to icons, I thank you. Anyone have any avatars for FF?

I like this movie more each time I see it. I die laughing when Hugh Grant is busted dancing to the Pointer Sisters...and during anything with Billy Mac and countless other scenes.

I've probably watched this movie so many times recently thanks to HBO and it made me buy the soundtrack and the movie!
