Love Actually was my favorite movie of 2003.
I just loved it. It had a great story, great actors - and I just LOVED Alan Rickman. Even though he was kind of an a$$hole I felt sympathetic. Hm... __________________

OMG... that was my favorite scene in the movie. And I think Andrew Lincoln is pretty cute
Oh by the way: whoever said Love Actually wasn't well received in the UK??? The British Film Institute published a list of the 100 Ultimate Films. It is the definitive list of the all-time top 100 films based on UK cinema admissions estimates. Love Actually came in at No. 77 with 8.76 million attendances. That's of all movies that have been shown in the UK. __________________

I just watched it w/the commentary & that was hilarious! I loved them all talking about just how good looking Colin Firth was, & then dissing Hugh Grant's acting, lol. And how Hugh kept dissing Colin, lol- that was a cute commentary. And kinda neat how the young boy, Thomas aka Sam was a part of it. I loved them making him look away during the sexual parts, LOL!

Thomas didn't say much, though - if I remember it right.
I loved the deleted scenes. Especially where Harry (Alan Rickman) suggests giving their son Bernard up for adoption since they do have another - nice - child __________________

Yeah, he didn't say much. I love his accent though, it's so cute.

I just caught this movie on HBO yesterday and had forgoten how much I had loved it. I had seen it when it first came out on the bigscreen. I have the dvd but never had watched it when they did the comintary. I now know what im watching tonight. My favorite storylines have to be the Mark/Juliet, Sam/Joanna, and Jamie/Aurelia as well.

Karen: Oh God. Since when did my bottom stop being my bottom and turn into Britain's second largest sea port? Harry: Don't be rude, I've invested a lot of time and emotion in that bottom. Aw. It made what happen in the end that much sadder. Her fabulous acting made me cry, with her scene in the bedroom. Joni Mitchell playing in the background and Emma Thompson crying, I lost it. I swear, I cry whenever she cries, in every single one of her bloody movies. Sasha, you're incredible with posting these links to icons, I thank you. Anyone have any avatars for FF? __________________

I like this movie more each time I see it. I die laughing when Hugh Grant is busted dancing to the Pointer Sisters...and during anything with Billy Mac and countless other scenes.
I've probably watched this movie so many times recently thanks to HBO and it made me buy the soundtrack and the movie! |

I love this movie! I've seen it so many times, I've lost count. I especially love watching it around the Holidays. Get's me in the holiday spirit
