I've seen the movie credit ad, at the movies and I'm passing, it looks too scary for me to watch

I was about to write this movie off...but, thanks to my TiVo...it has this four-minute preview, with cast/director interviews...and I must say, I am rather intrigued by this film...and I think I'm going to give it a chance.

I didn't hate The Village...but, it did not live up to the hype!!! Signs was good...not great...didn't see Unbreakable...and loved The Sixth Sense...one of my favorite movies, ever!

I've liked all his movies although Unbreakable was my least favorite.

I was pretty pumped to see this movie a month or two ago until all the negative reviews started coming out. Now I'm not so sure I want to see it anymore. DVD is looking like a better alternative.

I went to see the movie last night.
I loved it. I thought it was a great story, original in its concept.
Paul Giamatti was awesome, and I am not a huge fan, but I do like him....and he was so good in this film. BDH did a great job as well.
There were some scary parts, a few times that I jumped in my seat....but nothing that would give me nightmares. M Night has a role in the movie as well, I know he usually does a cameo of some sort, but he had more of a role in this one, and I thought he did a great job, too.
Overall, I think it was a great movie, worth the $8 for the ticket, and the $45 for popcorn and a soda (LOL).

i just saw it today and i liked it. The trailers do kinda of false advertise sinc eit really isn't a scary type of movie. And it actually made me think after seeing it..weird for a movie to do that to me lol

I absolutely loved this movie. Say what you will about Shymalan, but I love that he's original which I don't always see alot of in the movie world now days. I also loved that the movie made you think afterwards.

And nope not a scary movie at all.............suspenseful though. Loved the cinematography and score.

Paul Giamatti was just incredible I thought. As was Bryce Dallas Howard. Stellar performances from both.

yeah they did amazing jobs. Since the movie isn't performing that good at the box office, i'm hoping word-of-mouth helps it become a good seller on DVD
