I didn't love Signs either. It might be b/c I don't like Mel Gibson much though.

But I really loved The Village. I thought it was really relevant to what's going on in the US right now.

And this one sounds intriguing.

As I've said MKS is not original, but he puts a certain feeling to his films that's enjoyable. The aliens were only the b-story in Signs. It was all about the family, who I loved, even Mel Gibson who I usually hate.

I kind of like the other poster better with the watery footprints leading up to a door with glowing light underneath.

This poster scares me a little. I don't think I'd want to stare at that on my wall everyday.

I love M. Night Shyamalan. Shrr you really should see The Village. It is one of my very favorite movies. I know a lot of people that really hated it, and I think part of that problem was the marketing for that movie was done all wrong. The story itself is so unique in the concept and just unbelivable that this is actually happening....but I digress. I watched it for an entire weekend a few months ago, and began looking up all the actors/actresses and stuff, and discovered the link for Lady in the Water. I had no idea that Bryce Dallas Howard was Ron Howard's daughter! The Village was one of the first movies that she did, and she was so awesome in it, I can just imagine a great performance from her.

Seen the TV spots and the upcoming trailers and it looks good. I enjoyed the sixth sense, unbreakable, but didn't like Signs and the village. I can't wait to see the Lady in the Water.

What's the deal with this movie? Everything I had read about it initially said that it wasn't going to be one of his typical suspense/scary-ish films. Then I saw the trailer at the movies and it was, well, scary! Are they just being really misleading, or is it a thriller like it seems to be?

I'm really excited about this movie!!!

I initially heard it was going to be a calm peaceful children's story. From what I can tell that's not the case. Looks scary!
