Franck was such a great character! No one could have played that part better than Martin Short.

No, I've never seen the original movies. I heard that they were good though.

I was babysitting a few weeks ago and I brought FOTB over for the kids and when George was giving his monologue at the beginning of the movie, the nine year old said something hilarious. After he said, "You worry about her going out with the wrong kind of guys, the kind of guys who only want one thing--and you know exactly what that one thing is because it's the same thing you wanted when you were their age", she said very confidently, "money" . I was dying! Hehe, I love those kids.

I agree, thess movies are classic -- I think they're both equally funny, which is unusual because usually sequels to great movie aren't good; but FOB2's just as good!! They're classic family movies, which isn't something you see often. My fave characters are Frank & George; Martin Short & Steve Martin are perfect for their roles!!

Welcome Anji and amusic! I'm glad you guys made your way over here

ITA, amusic. FOTB2 was just as great as FOTB, which is exceptionally rare.

Hey girl...oh, I forgot your name...

Yeah, the 2nd one was just as great, just like the Home Alone's, very rare.

I loved how Frank talked, lol.

It's Ariel Don't worry about it, I always forget people's names, hehe.

I actually didn't think that the Home Alone sequel was half as good as the original. FOTB2 is really the only sequel I can think of that measured up to its predecessor. That's what makes it so unique in my eyes.

Ariel, that's it! I knew it started w/an A, just like my name, lol. Yeah, I feel so bad when I forget ppl's names, then have to ask again, like just now w/you, lol. I will try to remember this time, lol.

I loved them making Frank a more key character in the 2nd one too!

Hehe, it's okay if you don't. You can just call me by my username if you want. It's hard to remember so many first names.

Oh, okay I wish you luck then, hehe.

Hm, my favorite scene from FOTB is probably when Annie gets married and George (in voiceover) says: "'Who presents this woman? This woman.' But she's not a woman, she's just a kid. And she's leaving us. It was at that moment that I realized that I was never going to come home again and see Annie at the top of the stairs. Never going to see her again at our breakfast table in her nightgown and socks. I suddenly realized what was happening. Annie was all grown up and leaving us, and something inside began to hurt." I also love the montage sequence of Annie growing up.

One of my favorite scenes from the sequel is when George and Nina find out that Nina's pregnant. It's so classic! I love the basketball montage as well.

What about you? What are your favorite scenes?
