Mog's Christmas ahhh that poor cat, nobody appreciated it until the end

Benedict Cumberbatch voiced the miserable dad

Lovely little short Christmas movie based on the lovely children's book

Really enjoyed the Broadway show today

I definitely cried when Mufasa died a lot

Thankfully I had tissues

Really liked the actor who played adult Simba

I really liked the kid playing young Simba too

He was a good actor

and young Nala

Everyone had good singing voices in general

I really enjoyed the additional songs they added that weren’t from the movies

When the actor playing adult Simba sang his solo song it made me emotional - that was one of the additional songs

He had a really good singing voice

Yeah. Not surpised they did not have Mufasa live in this version, but I understand it being sad to see.

^^ Glad you enjoyed it, Allison

Speaking of The Lion King, here's Elton expressing his disappointment with the Favreau adaptation:

Yeah, not one of the best live action adaptions. Which is disappointing since the animated version is my favorite Disney film of all time.

A lot of the soul was missing from the cgi (not live action to me) remake

Lion King is my favorite Disney animated movie too

I wasn't expecting anything spectacular though because none of the live action movies have been really that impressive to me

some of them are definitely better than others though

I think the best live action adaptions they have made are The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella (2015) Also always loved the 101 Dalmatians live action film, along with Cruella (Which was much better than I thought it would be at the time) So even though they have gotten out of hand with these live action adaptions, I still highly recommend those lol.

Objectively I think jungle book was the best one out of all of those

I have seen 102 Dalmatians as a kid and liked it but I still need to see the 90s one
