Poor guy, this is a serious injury and a lot of times requires surgery. Will say a prayer for him tonight.

I really do wonder how this might effect filming because it's not like with almost any other show where they can throw the character in a cast cuz Damon can heal. It's probably gonna be like what they did with Paul when he broke his ankle. Man, I just hope that doesn't mean that they write/film any scenes with Damon has to physically lift Elena (or Katherine) at any point so they have to have his body double substitute like what happened with Nina and Paul in "Crying Wolf."
