I just can't help but wonder how and why they have let her have basically this whole week off from filming. Seems strange since Nina is in so many scenes. I guess we're not getting much Damon/Elena scenes in 3x16 or 3x17, whichever one they are working on.
Does sound like she's missing Ian. She tweeted pretty close to when he tweeted today, I'm hoping Ian goes this weekend too. I think he will.

I actually didn't think the separation anxiety had to do with Ian, but more her mom. Wasn't her mom there visiting around the time she probably put the tree up? That would explain the connection between the tree and separation anxiety.

They have been together for awhile now.I think it has been two years?Am I right?And it is so great to see that they are still very much inlove and miss each other whenever one of them is away.

I think she meant Ian as well as her cats and her friends and just home. LA is her job, not her home. I think she misses home and everyone and everything that reminds her of that.
Oh, just thought that it's st.Valentines Day next week. Maybe we get a sighting?

I would be beside myself if we actually got a singing on Valentine's !! I'm hoping hard for that but I don't know .. It's very possible they will be busy at work especially Nina since he seemes to have most of this week off !

Ian can't be living at Nina's house then if she still has her Christmas tree up in February as surely Ian would of taken it down for her by now. Good thing shes not superstitious then as you usually take Christmas trees down by the 6th January as it's concidered bad luck to leave them up longer.

Hopefully Ian can get to join Nina in Indianapolis this weekend

I was thinking the same as jenniferH, that she was missing her mom while mentionning he Christmas tree.

We got a valentines day sighting last year, hey were seen at a restaurant in Atlanta. Hopefully they'll go out again this year

Maybe they will go out again for a romantic Valentine Day's meal next week depending on their filming schedule considering Nina has had practically the whole week off from filming.
