God, the amount of hate Ian and Nina were getting for this was ridiculous. there were people who even tried to think his "thats badass Damon" tweet, which was meant for Damon Lindelof was actually him talking about himself, trying to "steal" the "limelight". I thought now that Ian tweeted some would shut up, but no such luck...

I think people don't get that Ian (and Nina) are too busy in real life and twitter is just meant for fun and they usually are only on it for a few minutes sometimes, probably tweeting for a few minutes and then leaving. Like they drop by to tweet about Japan as it is MAJOR or something else that is interesting and they want to share about but normally they do NOT spend hours on it, and they do not check their "replies" etc all that often.

very sad people... they take every little thing Ian (and now Nina) does and try to turn it into something negative.

The way they obsessed over Ian tweeting and following Paul did betray how much THEY actually obsess over everything Ian does and his star status though.

It's been two years and Ian is still not following Kat. But on his part I think it is a hint they are not that close as he never tweets her or about her either. I remember in one instance Perez Hilton was tweeting Ian, trying to get him to tweet about Kat's new music video. That was kind of... weird.... I mean, I'm sure they get along fine on scene and like one another as co-workers but I don't think they are really that close and have lots of common friends or anything...

Paul would never get any hate from anyone, as Ian fans don't do mindless hate. He is a nice guy and a friend of Ian's, there is no reason to hate him. Poor Ian gets hated on just because some people see him as an "obstacle". It is sad.

I don't follow her anymore. Unfollowed her after a few incidents with DE fans. But I think on a few occasions she did? Like his brithday...

Their various ships, and their favorites being on the limelight for you know, Ian "steals" the limelight. He is basically hated for being popular and successful and drawing so much interest and love from people. It is believed, remove him, and that attention and love and support would go to people/pairing THEY like.

im pretty sure Paul has said many times he likes being a private person and doesn't really like getting too much attention...

I know right?! Paul doesn't like the attention. It is one of the reasons he does less interviews etc. IMO and has taken so long to be on "twitter". Ian likes interacting with fans and people a lot...
