dont understand... who hates Stefan and why does he even care?
really, they are making it a huge problem for him that someone doesn't like him? Since when does he care that much.. I hate when writers write characters that can't seem to stand anyone disliking them, comes of fake and too pathetic and wish they haven't done it with Stefan because seriously, doesn't even make sense for him to be shocked at having someone hate him and not knowing what to do about it...__________________

Yeah I get that he's upset that Caroline's mad (though she has every right considering he ran off w/another girl) but him acting like he's never been in this position is so ridiculous. & him asking Damon for advice about it is just punch in the face worthy.

I get why Caroline is upset, and I get that Stefan wishes he could mend things. But it is kind of funny that he is asking "how does one deal with being hated"
